Have you seen the latest TikTok recipe video? It’s a stop animation video of chicken, shrimp and tomatoes being prepared. And it’s terrible.
The video is so bad and scary because it doesn’t look anything like a real recipe video and it really just sends some shivers up my spine. I am not sure if it is the scare of the salmonella coming off that chicken breast moving all around, or just the wierd way that it moves. To me I just hate it on so many different levels.
But what makes this video even worse is the fact that TikTok users seem to love it. They think it’s hilarious and have been sharing it all over the internet.
If you’re looking for a good laugh, then by all means go check out this video. But if you’re looking for a good recipe, you should probably steer clear of this one.
And as a side note, this by no means is a shot at the recipe as it looks like they are making chicken and shrimp balls from a slurry combination of them in a soup. I have tried similar things in my trip across Vietnam where they actually mash a piece of beef until it is a paste then cook it and I love it. When I see this clip I just keep hearing this ain’t it chief over and over again.
